She started her journey, to scrutinize a King, King Soloman.    She  heard about his fame, his Lord and of course his wisdom.  1Kings 10:1

The history states that she travelled 600 days to reach Jerusalem. She did not hesitate to travel to discover the truth. And I am sure she was received with stately honors in Jerusalem.

A Queen in her own right, she walked in with bounty from her land. 1 Kings 10:2

She found that there was nothing she asked Solomon concerning which he was not able and ready to give an entirely satisfactory answer. It showed his true humility, tested by a pagan. Not once was he aloof. 1 Kings 10:3

As she is in Kings Palace she was in awe of what she saw and King Soloman graciously shows his splendor. She saw his wisdom; she saw his palace, table laden with food, officials dressed in robes and the burnt offerings that he made. And she was conquered. 1 Kings 10:4,5

She disclosed that the summary she heard about him and his kingdom was not even half of what she has seen. And a pagan exalted our Lord. She did not have an encounter with our Lord. But she encountered the one who represented HIM. 1 Kings 10:6-9

King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired and asked for; he gave her more than she had brought to him. Then she left and returned with her to her own country. 1 Kings 10:13

Wow… If an earthy King like King Soloman can bless Queen Sheba with abundance, how much more will it be from the King of Kings and Lords of Lords of this creation. John 10:10b

Imagine you are Queen Sheba and you take your kingdoms richest wealth to meet a King and interrogate him with all kinds of questions and see his stately splendor beyond your wildest imagination, which words cannot capture. It’s like a little girl who wanted one candy and a generous heart gives her a pack full of candies, chocolates, wafers with all shapes, colors and sizes. Words would not describe her thankfulness.

Honestly speaking, when I heard first about Jesus I was slightly skeptical, maybe Queen Sheba was a little doubtful too, about Kings splendor and grandeur. When she walked in with the best in her land, she was blessed with more than she could fathom.

I too took my little things to HIS throne, only to know that I was blessed with much more beyond my imagination. Unlike Queen Sheba I took my burdens, guilt, shame, accusations, pain, a broken heart and HE replaced everything with HIMSELF, yes literally HIM. HE took all these and dressed me with a robe righteousness.  Isa 61:10. Much more then King Soloman, I was given living waters. John 7:38. He blessed me with my heart’s desire. Ps 37:4

Unlike King Soloman, we are approaching a better throne of grace (Heb 4:16); we are being influenced for extravagance. Queen Sheba was influenced by King Soloman material world, but we are being influenced by King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I was blessed and am still being blessed, are you willing to partake HIS blessing?

Happy are those who make the Lord their trust. Ps. 40: 4

Blessed are those who dwell in your house and Your presence;

they will be singing Your praises all the day long. Ps. 84: 4

Jesus said, Blessed are those who hear the Word of God

and obey it! Luke 11: 28

When I buy a new car, I would like my friends and ALL to see it …??!!

When I own a puppy, well  it’s the talk of the town…??!!

When I buy branded goggles, it’s on me even on a cloudy day…??!!

When I buy LED, I make sure that my neighbors know about it…??!!

Whatever I own I love to beat a silent trumpet about it, it satisfies my psyche (self-admiration)

I just adore the thought that I am being appreciated…

Now… Over to God, does He show me off to the world, just the way we do with our obscure things? Abba Father has done it with Job, Joseph, Esther, Mary and many others?

Acts 9:20 at once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.

The list is endless…

I want to be a show-off substance for GOD; I want my life to be a trumpet for HIM alone. I want to adore HIM in all HIS likeness and be more like HIM in the days to come.  HE will show me off when I yield to HIM, when I am like HIM, LOVE personified.  That I may bring a sacrifice of PRAISE to HIS courts and all out for HIM even in the wilderness. I am to GLORIFY and MAGNIFY HIM, rise HIM up above the skies, like a banner in the sky.

When I peeked into Britannica Concise Encyclopedia about trumpet, it says, Brass instrument with tubing twice-folded in an elongated shape. In its broad sense, trumpet may refer to any lip-vibrated instrument.

Then it struck me, that my lip-vibrator was none other than God HIMSELF. I am just an instrument in HIS hands. HE breaths into me and I produce a note, several such harmonious notes make a melody.

Making a melody in my heart

Unto the King of Kings!

Are you ready to be the TRUMPETERs, trumpet…?

Luke 22:18

I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes

Mathew 26:29

But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

Mark 14:25

Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

………silent night, a night filled with anxiety beyond our comprehension. In a few hours from then Jesus would experience agony beyond human belief. Jesus made this decision for you and me, so that we could sail through smoothly in life.

He made a covenant with all his brothers/sisters that He would not drink wine until the Kingdom is established.

Mark 15:22, 23

And they brought Him to the place Golgatha, which is translated, Place of a skull. Then they gave Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it.

He is waiting for us to have a victorious blast (1000times better than the Grand Prix)

Welcome DrinkIt’s beyond my comprehension as to why Jesus has to wait for me to have His drink.

It’s like a father who is waiting for his son to come from work late in the evening, he will chat with him and sup. How does it feel if the Prime Minister/President is waiting to have coffee with you?

My heart can only sing at the thought that My Jesus is waiting for me now in heaven to finish the race and join Him for the Big Day.

Philippians 3: 13, 14

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

And he was true to His word he did not drink the wine thereafter, even though He was going through the worlds greatest agony.

He is waiting for you to receive you with a welcome drink

One day this thought just struck me, what if being a Christian, I would give an advertisement about where your soul would go after eternity ………….. hey can someone speak about the soul stuff. What would happen to your soul after death.

Like an sunscreen Ad that cautions you about the tan on your skin, can someone caution them about your soul being in danger ……….. that Christ is coming soon and He would charge you for not accepting Him…………declining Him , denouncing Him, that you would be permanently tanned in the hell fire, the Big Regret Day is soon approaching for the ones who never heard about Christ.

We as human beings love this word called Unique ………….

Sometime ago I had an interesting conversation with a colleague of mine. I was told that like designer clothes, you also have designer cars! Ah! It was surprising to me, I never heard about this concept earlier. These are the custom built cars, made for the opulent, stinking rich class!

I was curious to know about this and started researching the same. My limited study proved that there are huge in number, to mention a few Jumpala, Merc, Jaguar, Virus, Ford, Cadillac, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Honda, Audi, Rolls Royce etc.

Now for the USP: the owner can decide the general appearance, the engine, the audio equipment, the lights, the color, the design, the width, the height, the space, the curves needed and several other aspects of his car, you name it, you have it. Attention is paid to every detail, be it for women who wear high heels or young men who prefer motor power.

Special varnishes, high gloss, fine abrasive, pure metals (like silver) are used, to mention a few.

It takes almost a year for the car to be manufactured as per the individuals’ preference, with several blue prints floating across both the individual and the firm.

And when the car is ready to be flown to her owner, a trainer is arranged from the firm to train the chauffeur as to how to maintain the car, to drive carefully etc.

And when these cars are driven on the Indian roads, every eye is glued to these cars, and their proud owners.

A simple dent would break your heart and cause you to shell a lot of money.

These cars receive a lot of attention from all around, when the car is flown to India the custom duty reigns anywhere from 100% to 180% , in which the aristocrat take pride in. lovingly take pride in the same. 

This is a story of few owners for their unique possession.

That reminds me of another unique story from Genesis, our story……….

Abba Father………… made us in his image, custom made each one of us, gave us our an unique identity, our features, our appearance, (God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. Gen 1:31). Wow, He made us good, when He said “good” he meant high quality, pleasant, sensible, strong, favorable, skillful, morally right, following rules, kind hearted, healthy, helpful, and wholesome.  He knit us in our mothers’ womb (you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Ps 139:13). He chose us when He planned creation. Ephesians 1:11-12

He chose the right combination of color for us. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14. Our height, width, our curves………. he paid a lot of attention to them (What is man that you make so much of him, that you give him so much attention, Job7:17).

He used finest gloss on our cheeks, purely His image (When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him. Exodus 34: 29-30)

And what else Abba Father owns all the riches on earth. We are His children and He is our Father. 1 John 3:1. He rejoices over us with singing. Zephaniah 3:17. And He tells us that He is not counting our sins 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.

Abba Father sent Holy Spirit for us to navigate thru life. He is our guide, comforter, counselor, a prayer partner………..He takes utmost care.

And lo behold our custom duty was paid for us by Jesus Christ, 2000 years ago on the cross. We don’t owe Him anything at all.

We are His high profile and most treasured ‘children’ He takes immense pride and pleasure in us, showing us off to others. We are His treasured possession. Exodus 19:5.

The only wish that He has is that we adore Him, love Him with all our heart, mind and soul. He wants us to give Him whole heartedly.

We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Pt 2:9.

All these and much more, from our Abba Father ……….. we are just a prayer away from Him.

We always have Him beside us, I am sure we can thank Him for He made us His reflections. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Ps 136:2

 Phases of a Face

 

Faces with anxiety and fear,

blend of confusion with tears,

faces that don’t know tomorrow,

Questioningly launch in wilderness.

But away from wilderness am I,

The GLORY who adores my soul,

HE loves to see me smile,

for upon me HE shines.

Bold and beautiful ads, bright and smart ads, lovely and cute ads, from hair care, nail care, eye care, skin care to foot care cream. All talk about how ugly you look, and how you must actually look. Trying to compare you with some skinny, half starved models. The Best stuff according to them.

The thought just struck me, being a Christian, what if I would advertise about Christ, what would become of your soul after death? Can someone speak about eternity, the actual Soul Stuff, give an advertisement about the same. What would happen to your soul after you die?

Like a sunscreen advertisement the cautions you about the ugly tan it leaves on your skin, can someone caution them about soul being in danger of eternal death. That Christ is coming soon and He would charge you for not accepting Him. Declining Him, denouncing Him, mocking at Him, when you heard about Him, ……. Can mean a permanent hell fire. The Big regret day is soon approaching for the ones who never accepted of Christ.

The Big day is approaching soon, for some it’s a Glorious big day and for some it is a Big Regret day, where do you want to be?

Come accept Christ, He has called you, invited you in His presence, accept Him, and He will love you with an everlasting love.

As John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Woe to WORSHIP

Bats flutter and oscillate,

Spiders spin their web,

Scary screeches all around,

In the trailing shadows.

A den called woe,

Designed long ago,

By a fallen angel,

To impede our journey ahead.

Lest we know,

That he is in strings,

We wail and scream,

In a scary realm.

But on a blessed date,

I walked in faith,

Hand in hand with Worship,

To dispense his craftsmanship.

Worship can topple woe,

From the murky den in yore,

To a magnificent impending Amen,

Rejoice, we sing, amid our kin.

Searching wildly,

I look for it,

In every split.
